Transport Options

Policy 309.0 / BLS Procedure B-09

- Police dogs may be treated and transported via ambulance

- EMS should assist the Police dog handler with treatment

- Allow officer to deal with the K-9

- The dog may be transported, code 3, to a veterinary hospital as directed by the officer
