Atropine
ADULT:
Symptomatic Bradycardia / 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree heart block with hypo-perfusion:
1 mg IV/IO/IM every 3-5 minutes to a maximum of 3 mg (1mg/10mL)
NOTE - IM injections should only be done with the 1mg/1mL vials, do not use the Pre-filled form for IM injections
Organophosphate Poisoning / Chemical Agent Exposure:
2 mg IV May repeat IV once SO (1mg/10mL)
or
2 mg IM, May repeat once SO, if no IV or if Mark I / Duodote kit used (1mg/1mL)

PEDS:
1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree heart block with hypo-perfusion BHO:
0.02 mg/kg IV every 3 minutes to a max of 3 mg BHO (1mg/10mL)
0.02 mg/kg IV every 3 minutes to a max of 3 mg BHO (1mg/1mL)
Maximum single dose of 0.5 mg
Minimum single dose 0.1 mg
*** Atropine is NOT given SO for Symptomatic Bradycardia in pediatrics ***
Organophosphate poisoning / Chemical Agent Exposure:
0.02 mg/kg IV minimum dose of 0.1 mg IVP (Base may order higher dose) MRx1 SO (1mg/10mL)
Max single dose 2 mg
Any child over 5 kg gets max dose of 0.5 mg / 5 mL
0.05 mg/kg IM, MRx1 SO (1mg/1mL)
Max single dose 2 mg
Any child over 5 kg gets max dose of 0.5 mg / 0.5 mL
**Acute MI** - BHO
NOT Indicated:
- Bradycardia related to head injuries or Asystole.
- Adult Symptomatic Bradycardia = > 60 BPM
